About Me.

My name is Thornton Strolia. I am a digital artist specializing in 3D materials and lighting, as well as photo editing and retouching. I am originally from Arizona but for the last few years have been moving around the New York Tri-State area. I began making art using computers from a young age and in 2017 graduated college with my bachelor’s degree in computer animation. I have now been using various different photo manipulation software and 3D modeling software for nearly 16 years.

I have worked on projects ranging from 3D concept visualization for internal company use and 3D product visualization for the end consumer for companies like Spacegrade Composite Engineering, to retouching for private individuals, all the way to album art and branding materials for artists like Limi.

Spacegrade Composite Engineering (2020 to present)
  • Create models and renderings from concept art and CAD files which effectively depict conceptual designs for pre-production;
  • Create textures and materials which expertly depict the materials and finishes used by my client;
  • Stage, Light, apply materials, and render studio and composite scenes depicting products actively in pre-production which will be presented to prospective customers.

  • Edit, retouch, and optimize promotional art for web, social media, and print;
